After just loosing her mum to unexplainable circumstances, Lily Anderson is exploring the loft for lost memories of her mother. When she stumbles upon an extremely old and suspicious looking book. After further inspection she find out that it is full of strange symbols that she cant make any sense of. This book used to belong to her mother (Jacqueline Anderson) as it says her name in the front of the book.  Lily decides to follow the instructions in the book to try to perform the ritual in which her mother had once performed even though there are warnings on the page about previous experiences.

 

After showing the book to her friends at school they decide (with some persuading) to help her perform the ritual. After a few weeks being attached to the book and never letting it out of her sight she organises a date in which her friends will come round and help her try and recreate the ritual to see what her mother performed. 

 

After setting up the house with all the right equipment (candles and salt on table) Lily and her friends start to perform the ritual. The read the scribe and present an offering of blood. All of the candles are blown out by a paranormal force apart from Lily's. She then screams with her face showing some demon presences. When Toby turns the lights on they find that Lily is missing and all that is left is the knife covered in blood. After searching the house for Lily she can not be found and the 4 friends leave the house and go home.  

 

After Lily not showing up at school the next day the group of friends realise that something is seriously wrong and they are scared for their friend. They start up a missing posters and keep trying to find their missing friend. Strange events start occurring around the group of friends such as flittering lights in their homes and moving shadows being seen in the end of the garden

 

 Until one night when Toby is alone listening to music she appears in the room with him. She leaves the book with a note saying “come and find me!” even though he never sees her in the room. He looks at out the window to see her beckoning him out into the woods. Toby grabs his jacket and runs outside, following Lily’s appearances into a woodland. Lily confronts him and kills him.

The next day his body is found however there are no stab marks or anything wrong with him. He just died with no normal death. This causes a hunt for lily to occur and the rest of her friends after seeing hat happen to toby set up a communication link so when Lily turns up they are ready. After doing extensive research on the book they find it to be an old tudor book apparently written by witches and contains the curse of the an enslaved demon. They contain people to find out how to reverse the curse and start to perform the counter ritual. Lily shows up and even though there is a lot of fighting they manage to reverse the curse and she is set free.

 

 

After going through the synopsis with my teacher we came up with some ideas that are improvements that will be implicated in my next synopsis.

 

 

ACTION PLAN!!!:

 

 

Having a paranormal presence accidentally consuming your soul is a lot more scarier that if there is a ritual as there is always be the aspect that is the main character knew about the dangers why would they do it. Also there is the other aspect that if there is these unknown characters then how do they know what to do at the ritual. All in all it would be best to take out the ritual part of the trailer meaning there is less dialogue as well.

Due to the lack of digital sound equipment we have to try and cut down as much dialogue as possible.

We both came up with the idea of the main character Lilly after getting possessed she acts normal and still meets up with friends and strange things start to happen around her as if there was something wrong that she can’t see. This can be seen in such things that her eyes turn a black colour.

She cuts her finger on the book as there is a pin prick sticking out of the book and a drop of blood falls onto the book. This causes the a chain of reactions where is looks like her soul is being sucked out of her face and an evil presence enters. 

 

After Lily meets up with her the group of friends realise that strange events are accouring around them. Her eyes change colour and things start to happen around them. Glasses start to move on the table and  flittering lights in their homes and moving shadows being seen in the end of the garden. Lily meets up with the friends separately and she is acting odd and strange things start to happen. She starts to question her presence and her sanity.

 

 Until one night when Toby is alone listening to music she appears in the room with him. She leaves the book with a note saying “come and find me!” even though he never sees her in the room. He looks at out the window to see her beckoning him out into the woods. Toby grabs his jacket and runs outside, following lily into the woods Lily confronts him and screams and changes face. She runs at the camera and then there is an extreme close up.

THE MARKED.

 

 

Lily Anderson is exploring the loft when she stumbles upon an extremely old and suspicious looking book. After further inspection she find out that it is full of strange symbols that she cant make any sense of. Inside the book there is a hand print in which she places her hand on the book and the presence inside the book takes over her body and starts to control her. She becomes a controlled by the devil and is the devils physical presence on earth. 

 

Lily shortly goes missing along with her family and her friends come to investigate. At her house they nothing but the book that is out of place. The friends examine the book and take the book with them. Then there is the first encounter with Lily. She approaches the group of 3 friends and causes them to split up in the house. She approaches each one in turn and touches each one.

 

The three friends finally meet up and run out of the house. They all go home and try to forget what happened in the house. All three of the friends start to see symbols everywhere, and they find out that all 3 of the friends are marked with a symbol. They meet up the next day and tell each other about the symbols and then decide to try and find out more about the book. The translate the book online and find out that it says about 5 people must be die to embody the devil. These people are marked with a black symbol and the possessed must kill them. 

 

The three friends know that the parents where the first two to die so they are next 3. They are scared and when these symbols are becoming stronger in colour and these three friends try and stop the possessed this is done by killing her before she can kill them. 

 

The three of them have to kill Lily so they go back to the house to confront her. They find her and have a final conflict. Lily kills 2 of the friends however it is the last friend that manages to kill Lily by stabbing her in the back with a knife. This leaves the last member emotionally scared and mentally insane so much so that he goes into a mental hospital for killing the other 3.
