WHEN REFLECTIONS START WAVING BACK.
In my research I have seen that one thing that causes people to be unsettled is the effect of your reflections in mirrors acting differently to what your actions are. This effect is one that I wish to try to incorporate in my film trailer as it is used in most popular trailers along with the fact that is shows a paranormal activity in plain sight.
As you can see from the video above the reflection masks George's movements until he starts to walk off frame. This is done by filming two identical actions and then using the linear wipe to create the two overlapping videos.
Another effect that was quite easy to make, and is used in films to draw your attention to one specific item or colour is the leave colour effect.
